Passenger Information

  1. We recommend that you keep in touch with your air operator / carrier for any information regarding your flight.
  2. Don’t travel to the airport if you have been in any of the situation :
    - You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 at any time during the 14 days prior to your flight.
    - You have had any of the COVID-19 relevant symptoms (fever; newly developed cough; loss of taste or smell; shortness of breath) at any time during the 8 days prior to your flight.
    - You have been in close contact (e.g. less than 2 metres for more than 15 minutes) with a person who has COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your flight.
    - You are required by local or national regulations to be in quarantine for reasons related to COVID-19 for a period that includes the date of the flight.

FOR DEPARTURES

  1. We encourage you to carry out online check-in operations. Passenger access on board the aircraft will be allowed with only one hand luggage. To avoid congestion, passengers should arrive at the airport 3 hours before the scheduled time of take-off of the aircraft, in accordance with current legislation on the prevention and control of coronavirus.
  2. Please plan your time to prevent late arrival at the airport, thus avoiding possible inconvenience. During this period, measures are applied to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which means that the time required to process passengers is longer than under normal conditions.
  3. To avoid physical contact, we recommend that payment for services provided at the airport be made by card.
  4. Access to the departures terminal is only allowed to passengers. Exceptions to this rule are the parents / guardians / legal guardian (s) of the minors who will be traveling unaccompanied, as well as the companions of persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility. They will be able to accompany passengers to the checkin office, from where passengers will be picked up by airport staff.
  5. The access to the departures terminal will be made on a single door (the one at the northern end of the terminal), according to the visual indications that you will find in front of the departures terminal. Access to the departures terminal will be checked by airport staff.
  6. Access to the airport is only allowed to persons wearing a protective mask, covering both the mouth and the nose, in accordance with the legislation in force on the prevention and control of coronavirus. Wearing a mask is mandatory throughout the airport, from entering the airport (first barrier) to boarding the aircraft or exiting the airport. Exceptions are minors under 5 years of age and people with respiratory diseases (both exceptions proved by a supportive document). The mask should be replaced every 4 hours (unless instructions say otherwise). Check you have sufficient medical face masks and sanitising gel for your journey. We recommend that passengers wear protective gloves when they may need to touch various objects or surfaces.
  7. The process of checking the temperature is a legal obligation, and the consequence of its non-compliance leads to the prohibition of access to the departures terminal, according to the legislation in force on the prevention and control of coronavirus.
  8. Passengers registered with a body temperature exceeding 37.3 degrees Celsius, according to the legislation in force on preventing and combating coronavirus, will not be allowed access to the departure terminal.
  9. The thermometry process with the thermal imaging camera, performed in the departure terminal, is equivalent to a video surveillance system. Personal data are processed for reasons of public interest in the field of public health, in accordance with the Joint Order of the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communications and the Minister of Health 984 / 829/2020 and are used strictly to identify passengers with potential health problems. The data are stored by SN AIMKC SA, and will be deleted within 20 days from the moment of registration. The management of persons who do not meet the health conditions in order to make the trip, by reference to the legal provisions and sanitary norms, is the responsibility of the state institutions that have legal competences in this direction. Your rights regarding the processing of personal data relate to the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict the processing, the right to oppose the processing, as well as the right to data portability. If you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of Regulation (EU) 679/2016, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing and the right to a judicial remedy. 
  10. The airport administrator applies social distance measures, at the same time it is your obligation to respect the social distance of 1.5 meters (in all directions - front, back and side) according to the legislation in force on preventing and combating coronavirus. Keeping the distance of at least 1.5 meters is mandatory on the entire processing route, from entering the terminal to boarding the aircraft.
  11. For the protection of persons taking passengers to the departure terminal, limit the time spent into the airport or car parking area.
  12. In order to streamline operations at the departures terminal, regardless of the area you are in, follow the directions of airport staff, floor markings, directions on the posters in the terminal and those included in the messages of the airport ambient sound system.
  13. At all stages where it is necessary for passengers to touch documents received from airport staff or to touch other surfaces (counters, railings, etc.) there are dispensers with hand sanitizer. We recommend to all passengers the use of disinfectants and frequent washing of hands before and after each stage of processing at the airport.
  14. After boarding the aircraft, we recommend that you follow the instructions of the flight crew.

 FOR ARRIVALS

  1. The disembarkation of the passengers from the arriving aircraft will be done respecting the social distance of 1.5 meters and the wearing of the protective mask. Wearing the mask is mandatory throughout the processing route, from getting off the aircraft to leaving the terminal. Exceptions are minors under 5 years of age and people with respiratory diseases. Keeping the distance of at least 1.5 meters is mandatory throughout the processing route, from the disembarkation of the aircraft to the exit from the terminal, including the bus / taxi waiting station located in the public area of ​​the terminal. 
  2. Depending on the degree of loading, some passengers may be directed to a separate room; as the processing flow in the arrivals terminal progresses, passengers in the waiting room will be transferred for formalities.
  3. Passengers registered with a body temperature exceeding 37.3 degrees Celsius at the entrance to the international arrivals terminal (after disembarking from the aircraft), will be evaluated by the representative of the Constanța Public Health Directorate and will be subject to the measures required by law in force on preventing and combating coronavirus.
  4. The thermometry process with the thermal imaging camera, performed in the arrivals terminal is equivalent to a video surveillance system. Personal data are processed for reasons of public interest in the field of public health, in accordance with the joint Order of the Minister of Transport Infrastructure and Communications and the Minister of Health 984/829/2020 and are used strictly to identify passengers with potential health problems. The data are stored by SN AIMKC SA , and will be deleted within 20 days from the moment of registration. The management of persons who do not meet the health conditions, by reference to the legal provisions and sanitary norms, is the responsibility of the state institutions that have legal competences in this direction. Your rights regarding the processing of personal data relate to the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict the processing, the right to oppose the processing, as well as the right to data portability. If you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of Regulation (EU) 679/2016, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing and the right to a judicial remedy. The temperature verification process is a legal obligation, and your refusal to comply will be communicated to the representatives of state institutions that have legal powers in this regard.
  5. In order to streamline the operations at the arrivals terminal, regardless of the area you are in, follow the instructions of the airport staff, the markings on the floor, the indications on the posters in the terminal and those included in the messages of the airport ambient sound system.
  6. Persons registered with a body temperature exceeding 37.3 degrees Celsius, according to the legislation in force on preventing and combating coronavirus, will not be allowed to  access to the public area of ​​the arrivals terminal (dome area), and measures will be taken according to the legislation in force.
  7. It is forbidden for persons waiting for disembarked passengers to enter the public area of ​​the arrivals terminal (dome area). Exceptions to this rule are the parents of minors who have traveled alone, as well as the companions of persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility.
  8. For justified reasons (access to toilets, access to coffee machines, water, car rental offices) persons waiting for passengers are allowed access to the public area of ​​the arrivals terminal (dome area), no more than it is necessary for the activities described above. For the protection of people waiting for passengers at the arrivals terminal, limit the time spent inside or at the airport car parking area.
  9. At all stages where it is necessary for passengers to touch documents received from airport staff or other surfaces (counters, railings, etc.) there are dispensers with hand sanitizer. We recommend to all passengers the use of disinfectants and frequent washing of hands before and after each stage of processing at the airport.
  10. In the public area of ​​the arrivals terminal, on the front side, there is the public transport station (bus), with the schedule displayed, and on the left side, there is the taxi station.
